SOLUTION ONE (PRIMARY STAIN)
Uramine 0.3g
Phenol crystal 3.0g
Distilled water 97ml
PREPARATION
Dissolved phenol in distilled
water by gentile heat, add uramine gradually by continues shaken till the
solution form homogeneously, filter record date label and store in a dark
stoppered battle, and can be left for three weeks.
Note: care should be taken in
handling the solution, because phenol is corrosive.
SOLUTION TWO (DECOLORISER)
Sodium chloride 0.5g
Hydrochloric acid 0.5ml
Ethyl alcohol 100ml
PREPARATION METHOD
Combine the ethyl alcohol with hydrochloric
acid and dissolved sodium chloride in the solution record date label and store.
Note: the solution should be handled
carefully, because it is highly corrosive and inflammable.
SOLUTION THREE (COUNTER STAIN)
Potassium permanganate
1%solution.
